Christ Church has had a long association with Avro’s. One of our ministers the Rev’d Howard Barker was chaplain to Aerospace for many years. Also we have some famous Avro people buried in the churchyard, Sir Roy Dobson, Roy Chadwick, Sidney Thorn, S/L David Wilson, Fred Bassett (2 Vulcans on the headstone) & Kevin Moorhouse.
